In Peru, over the years, cases of violence against women have increased, resulting in an alarming number of 1631 femicides between 2009 and 2022 (Ministerio de la Mujer y Poblaciones Vulnerables [MIMP], 2022). Currently, there are 49 Temporary Shelter Homes in the country and 14 are specifically in Lima (MIMP, 2014), this number of shelters does not supply the need in the country, in addition, the shelters have arisen out of necessity, so they are adapted in homes and not in places built for this purpose, for this reason the infrastructures often do not present what is required by the MIMP, so ,some of the areas that are necessary doesn´t exist for the recovery of women and their children. This is how in the present research work a Temporary Shelter Home is proposed for vulnerable populations in the San Juan de Lurigancho district in order to give support to women who have nowhere to go in case of violence and provide them with a full recovery in order to be reinserted into society.
