Objective: to evaluate the correlation between burnout syndrome and personality disorders in nursing professionals working in the critical care unit of a clinic in southern Lima, 2024. Materials and methods: this study will have a quantitative approach and a descriptive, correlational and cross sectional design. It will be carried out in the south of the city of Lima. The population will be composed of 25 professionals working in the Intensive Care Unit of a private clinic. The sample size will be considered, which is equivalent to the universe of the population. The sampling will be non-probabilistic. The collection of the data necessary for the development of this study will be carried out through the survey, and two previously designed instruments will be used, which have validity and reliability. Results: the information collected will be organized and classified in a double-entry matrix. Then, we will proceed to the elaboration of tables or graphs reflecting the frequency of the variables and of each dimension studied. Conclusions: the results obtained in this study will make it possible to identify the correlation existing between burnout syndrome and personality disorders in professional nurses.
