Objective: Determine the relationship between Acceptance and knowledge of the COVID-19 vaccine in a population of the 7th stage of the Santo Domingo de Carabayllo Urbanization. Materials and methods: The present study has a quantitative approach and correlational/cross-sectional design. The population was made up of 120 people, of which 92 participants made up the sample. The technique used was the survey and the variables were two, one of knowledge and the other of acceptance regarding the covid-19 vaccine. Results: In the general hypothesis, there is a statistically significant relationship between knowledge and acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine (<0.05). Similarly, regarding each of the specific hypotheses, a significant statistical relationship was found between each of the dimensions of knowledge about the Covid-19 vaccine (acceptance and the prevention measures dimension; acceptance and the clinical picture dimension; dimension means of transmission and risk groups; etiology dimension of COVID-19; knowledge and acceptance) (p<0.01). Conclusions: According to the general hypothesis, a relationship was found between knowledge and acceptance, it is shown that knowledge about vaccines allows the population to be more informed about the benefits of being vaccinated.
