Objective: Determine the influence of sociodemographic factors on the knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding in mothers at the San Judas Tadeo San Miguel Clinic - 2024. Materials and methods: The study was conceived with a quantitative approach and its methodological design was descriptive - cross-sectional. The population was made up of 110 mothers of infants under 6 months of age. For data collection, the survey technique was used and the measurement instrument was the questionnaire, which was developed by Avendaño M. and Medrano k, which was validated in 2017 and presents 17 statements and 4 dimensions that evaluate the level of knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding. Results: The fit information of the models explains the incidence of the sociodemographic factors variable in the dependent variable, knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding in mothers of children under one month old, since the chi square has a value of 16.412 and p significance value of 0.002 being within the accepted values. 45.5% of mothers have a fair level of knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding, 40.5% have a good level of knowledge and 13.6% have a poor level of knowledge. Conclusions: Concluding that sociodemographic factors influence knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding.
