Objective: To determine the relationship between health-related quality of life and adherence to treatment in hypertensive patients who attend a Maternal and Child Center in Lima Norte. Materials and Methods: Quantitative approach. Correlational-cross-sectional design. Sample made up of 109 patients. Technique used: the survey and the instruments: the SF-36 questionnaire and the Morisky Green Test. The Chi-square test was used for inferential analysis. Results: There is a relationship between HRQoL and treatment adherence in hypertensive patients (p=0.000). Regarding treatment adherence, those who are adherents predominated with 88.1% (n=96). Conclusions: HRQoL and adherence to treatment had a significant statistical relationship.
