On the other hand, 42.4% lived with people who are vulnerable to COVID-19 and at least 62.5% had a relative with COVID-19. Then, the age (p=0.031) and the genre (p=0.034) were sociodemographic factors associated with the level of state anxiety, while there were no factors associated with trait anxiety. Conclusions: It was observed a medium and high level of state anxiety and a high and medium level of trait anxiety among nursing students. In the association between the state anxiety variable and the sociodemographic variables corresponding to age and genre, there was found a significant association (p=0.031 and p=0.034).
