Online shopping has gone from being a trend to a recurring habit of consumption within society, which significantly represents a large percentage of total sales in the retail sector, so it is important to know consumer behavior in the face of this new form of consumption, so that companies can make the right decisions and strategies to reach consumers. The general objective of this research is to determine the relationship between online shopping and consumer behavior in the retail sector of the city of Chiclayo, 2021. An applied quantitative approach was used with a correlational level and a non-experimental cross-sectional design. Likewise, the sample consisted of 383 users who had made one or more online purchases, who participated in a questionnaire based on the model of Moreno, et al. (2015) using the Likert scale. As results, it was found that there is a relationship between the dimensions of online shopping and consumer behavior, at a moderate positive level for the dimensions of trust and eWOM, and a low positive level for the dimensions of attitude, web quality and perceived benefits of online shopping
