Currently, consumers are showing a growing interest in using online shopping channels. However, within the context of the CyberWow event, many companies participating in this event do not comprehend the factors that motivate users to make impulse purchases through digital platforms. Therefore, the overall objective of this research is to determine the factors that drive impulse buying in the context of CyberWow in Chiclayo in 2023. To conduct this research, a quantitative descriptive approach was chosen. The collected data were analyzed using an adapted questionnaire based on the theoretical model by Wu et al. (2020) and other authors. This questionnaire was administered to a sample of 384 consumers. The results indicate that there are five factors motivating online impulse buying in the context of CyberWow: visual appeal, telepresence, price promotion, perceived enjoyment, and product variety. Among these factors, it is noteworthy that product variety is the most influential, followed by price promotion and perceived enjoyment. These findings confirm that the presence of e-commerce has generated increasing interest among consumers due to the advantages it provides, reflecting the development it has experienced in recent years.
