The objective of this research was to identify the level of behavioral adaptation of students from 2nd to 5th grade of secondary school of the I.E. Mixto Huaycán in times of pandemic, 2022. The methodology was based on a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, cross-sectional, basic descriptive, non-correlational type. This study considered a student population of 811 students from 2nd to 5th grade of secondary school, the type of sample was non-probabilistic, with a convenience sample of 96 students. The Behavioral Adjustment Inventory (BAI) instrument was used. These results obtained from the research showed that a group of students of this institution presented 24% of adaptation difficulties and 41% normal adaptation, making up 65% of adolescents showing a level between medium and low. It was identified that the personal area of the adolescents concluded that 71% of adolescents present a level between medium and low. In the second dimension, the family area shows a level between medium and low 73%. The school area presents a level between medium and low 68%. Finally, in the fourth area it is evident that 65% of adolescents represent levels between medium and low in social adaptation.
