ABSTRACT The export of non-traditional agricultural products has grown vertiginously in recent years, providing greater foreign exchange earnings, promoting employment and generating diversification for agricultural competitiveness; thus, contributing to Peru's economic development. This dynamism is also reflected in blueberries, which has acquired an increasingly important role at a global level, positioning Peru as the world's leading exporter of fresh blueberries. Against this backdrop, this investigation analyzes the determinants of the export supply of fresh Peruvian blueberries during the period 2014-2019. Hence, using the ordinary least squares method, an extension of the multiple linear regression models was estimated, such as the log-linear semi-logarithmic model, whose parameters are linear but the endogenous variable was expressed logarithmically. From the estimated results, it was concluded that determining factors of this product are exchange rate, gross fixed investment, international price, minimum vital wage and price paid in farm, showing the expected signs for all the factors, except for the last variable, which can be explained by the growth of the national consumption of blueberries. Therefore, it is recommended to pay more attention to the domestic market in order to provide technical and commercial support to the local producer by the Peruvian government. Furthermore, researching new products and potential markets will allow to continue boosting agro-exports of the country so as to consolidate it as a large sustainable industry.
