ABSTRACT This thesis was carried out with the purpose of analyzing how family relationships influence the academic performance of students of the VII cycle of accounting and finance at the National University of Trujillo, 2023. It has been possible to consider the type oriented to applied research, which was based on a descriptive design, as its sample was made up of 90 students, through this it was possible to work applying these methods. and various techniques based on quantitative research: Statistical method and therefore the survey was used as an effective technique, and therefore qualitative research: Inductive, deductive method; and as various techniques through direct observation and focused interview. From the results that were achieved by themselves, it is noted that academic performance is directly influenced by family communication, being manifested by interconnections and emotional ties and family relationships, evident in the fulfillment of various activities in an academic manner. accounting and finance students. The results of this research show that teachers, directors, psychologists, social workers and therefore parents help students to have high self-esteem and form a good image of their environment. Because in this way they will be able to achieve better educational development with optimal results. This thesis presents a subdivision into: I.
