ABSTRACT The objective of this research is to describe and explain the different sociocultural factors that influence adolescents from thirteen (13) to nineteen (19) years of age to become pregnant. To collect the information, interviews were used, applying them to the fifty-five (55) adolescents who are studying secondary school. The methodologies used were the ethnographic method, inductive-deductive method and statistical analysis. With respect to the systematization of the research, the techniques and instruments were used. As for the techniques, they were based on observation, review of files and the interview and as for the instruments, the photographic camera, the map of the District and its sketch, the field notebook, the field cards that have been provided to us were used allowed to collect all information from adolescents in order to meet our objectives. The results obtained show that in schools there is little information about contraceptive methods, the use of condoms, sexual education, as well as the absence of parents, the influence of friends, and the use of customary methods. With this little information, adolescents, due to their young age, are not well informed or oriented so that they can cover this topic responsibly. On the other hand, the absence of parents also influences the sexual development of the adolescent, because there is no trust between the parents and the adolescent.
