ABSTRACT The general objective of this research is to analyze the incidence of the determinants of business investment in Peru: 2010-2020. The study is non-experimental, longitudinal and correlational. Using an econometric panel data model, the degree of incidence of the economic size of the company (TAM), the debt ratio (RD) and the multilateral real exchange rate (TCRM) on the investment of companies in the Peru (INV), considering 30 companies. The results indicate that the multilateral real exchange rate negatively influences the level of investment made by companies in Peru, period 2010-2020. The higher the TCRM, the lower the level of investments. With respect to the panel model, the variables included are significant to explain the investment behavior of companies. Furthermore, finding its elasticities: 0.97 for the INV variable lagged one period, -0.93 for the TCRM variable and 0.03 for the RD variable.
