ABSTRACT Water as a renewable natural resource, fundamental for human life and for production processes, in the face of pollution and overexploitation, becomes a scarce resource. Hence the importance of identifying, validating and isseminating those forms of water collection, storage, distribution and conservation that contribute to their rational use and that are a key factor in rural development processes and the management of natural resources in ecosystems. It is then that the value of water becomes greater when, as a factor of production, it influences food security and water security, at the same time that it becomes the main means by which the impacts of climate change are manifested. The present thesis shows in its content the design of a system of water conduction for irrigation, which was developed to supply a flow of 30 l / s, which is enough to irrigate an agricultural area of 65 Ha. The project describes the technical and regulatory criteria for the irrigation infrastructure with PVC pipeline of the line of conduction in the Quinualpampa farmhouse, Carabamba district, Julcán province, La Libertad. 2018, topographic studies, soil mechanics studies and hydrological studies of the area were carried out; the hydraulic and structural design was carried out and finally the budgets of irrigation infrastructures. For the line of conduction, depending on the topography of the terrain, works of art were designed, such as: bottom type intake, lateral intake with plugs, desander, reservoir of 607.38 mᶟ lined with geomembrane and energy dissipating chambers, the flow for the design was 0.03 m3 / s. PVC pipe is 08 in. The flow speed 1.11 m / sec, which directly influence the final cost of the infrastructure, at higher speed, smaller section of the channel. The budget for the pipe line with PVC pipes and works of art amounts to S /. 617, 287.68 (Six Hundred Seventeen Thousand Two Hundred Eighty Seven and 68/100 Nuevos Soles, including indirect costs.
