The purpose of this research was to determine if the application of a program “Plasmando mi imagination” allows to improve the levels of achievement of text production in students of the third grade of secondary education of the I.E. No. 82070 “Abraham Valdelomar” by Chao – Virú, 2017. The research followed the quantitative approach with emphasis on a quasi experimental design. There was a population of 78 students from the third grade of secondary education, where 40 from third grade A were assumed as the experimental group and 38 from third grade B as the control group. A “Test of text production levels” validated by experts and subject to reliability criteria was used as data collection instruments. The data were processed using descriptive and inferential statistics. As results, the research shows that the application of the “Plasmando mi imagination” program improves the levels of achievement in the production of texts, a situation that was verified through the use of the correlation coefficient between the scores of the two parts and the result was from: r = 0.77. It is inferred that the application of the “Plasmando mi imagination” program improves the levels of achievement in the production of texts with variables that are established and a cause-effect relationship; That is, the program influences the levels of text production.
