ABSTRACT The overall objective of this research is to determine how work engagement relates to voluntary renunciation by administrative staff of the an agribusiness company in Libertad, Trujillo 2021. The problem formulated was: How is work engagement related to voluntary renunciation by administrative staff of the an agribusiness company, Trujillo 2021? and it was raised as a hypothesis: The work engagement is inversely related to the voluntary renunciation by administrative staff of the an agribusiness company in Libertad, Trujillo 2021. In the same way, there was a population of 321 administrative employees of the an agribusiness company in Libertad until August 2021; and, consequently, a sample of 175 administrative employees. The research design used was non experimental descriptive – correlational because the variables were described and then analyzed the interrelationship between them, at a given time. As for the techniques, the survey was used and the questionnaire as instruments. Likewise, the conclusion reached was that work engagement and voluntary renunciation have a considerable negative relationship. In other words, the indicators of the work engagement variable of the administrative staff of the an agribusiness company in Libertad are presented, for the most part, as weaknesses, causing the level of voluntary renunciation to be considered high.
