The present study aims to determine the level of microbial contamination according to the storage conditions of removable dentures of the USEE-2016 dental laboratory. The cross-sectional, descriptive and observational study included a total of 40 samples taken of the removable prosthesis in any type of material, elaborated in the USEE dental laboratory between the months of September and December; the sample collected was taken to the microbiology laboratory for further analysis. Likewise, the Chi-square test of independence of criteria for degrees of pollution was applied. For the analysis of the data, we used frequency distribution statistics The results obtained in this study showed that the level of microbial contamination of the removable prosthesis of the USEE dental laboratory belongs to level I when these are stored in the plaster model and in the environment; and in level IV when these are stored in water. It was observed that in the storage conditions, in the water there was more CFU of bacteria (4500 cfu / ml). According to the material of the prosthesis, in the acrylics the growth was greater (1673.5 cfu / ml). We also observed that the predominant bacteria in removable prostheses when stored in the environment and in the model were Staphylococcus (46.9%) and when stored in water were Pseudomonas (25%)
