ABSTRACT The theme of this thesis is to formulate a hydrological proposal for the evaluation of the channeling of the San Ildefonso Quebrada Micro Basin, located in the El Porvenir District of the Province of Trujillo in the Department of La Libertad. For this purpose, daily precipitation data acquired through remote sensing techniques of free servers of Earth Data (NASA) will be analyzed in order to calculate the main hydrological parameters necessary for the design of flood protection works due to extraordinary floods associated with precipitation events. Extreme, product of climate change. The hypothesis that will be tried to demonstrate is that by means of the selected hydrological proposal, there will be Hydromorphological parameters (intensity, time of concentration, return period, flow) necessary to dimension works of channeling and protection against floods. The study is composed of 4 fundamental parts. In Chapter II the theoretical framework of the study is developed, where scopes of the concepts used are given, Chapter III defines the materials, techniques and methods in addition to a general design of the study, Chapter IV proceeds to perform the calculations to develop the proposal, finally Chapter V the results have been analyzed and the final conclusions will be presented. At the end of the work we came to the conclusion that different hydrological proposals were formulated; In this sense, the one that contemplates the maximum flow of 76,774 m3 / s is recommended. for which a return period of 10 years was used, a runoff coefficient of 0.75, a design storm of 18,370 mm / hr; This is based on the maximum daily rainfall generated by the Log Gumbel distribution of the Persiann CCS data series. The main parameters of the morphometry of the San Ildefonso Micro Basin that were obtained are the area (12,592 Km2), perimeter (15,354 Km), average slope (23,164%), compactness coefficient (1.21), length of the main channel (6,589 Km). ), pending the main channel (13%), the order or hierarchy of the water network (4) as well as the average concentration time (40.232 min).
