The National University of Trujillo's main function is to provide quality education service according to its institutional plan in its various programs such as undergraduate, postgraduate and second specialty for all young people who wish to train in this great institution. Given the health crisis (pandemic) that began in 2020, the educational service had a resounding turn in terms of its development, suspending face-to-face classes for virtual classes, therefore there was a great growth in the student population not only in Trujillo but throughout Peru in the use of technological means to carry out virtual classes which caused students to adapt unexpectedly to the use of virtual platforms, many of these students saw the use of these platforms as a barrier since they were not easy to manipulate , the lack of a culture prior to the use of these systems caused many students to drop out of their studies the pandemic is over For this reason, a study was carried out to determine the degrees of usability of these virtual platforms through heuristic evaluation methods in order to contribute with some points to improve these systems with contributions from experts. To achieve this, the main components that make possible the easy and correct use of these platforms were determined where the student only dedicates himself to the development of his subject and not so much to understand the use of the platform since it has intuitive characteristics. This investigation concluded with the evaluation of the grades for each component resulting in a very significant level (very good) in the use of the virtual platform and therefore the students get more out of their courses since this modality has come to stay.
