ABSTRACT In the present study the water footprint of three crops Blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum), Green Asparagus (Asparagus officinalis) and Hass Avocado (Persea americana) cultivated in La Libertad, Peru, mainly in the province of Virú were calculated. We used the methodology proposed by the Water Footprint Network (WFN). The sustainability analysis of the water footprint was based on predictions of water stress, water pollution level and qualitative analysis. Was obtained as a result that the green HH for Blueberry, Green Asparagus and Hass Avocado is zero due to the absence of precipitation, the blue HH is 537.134, 920.924 and 793.759 m3/t and the gray HH is 182.848, 170.832 and 162.338 m3/t respectively. In the packaging phase was calculated the blue HH for Green Asparagus and Hass Avocado of 2.4 and 1.6 liters/t respectively, representing 10% of the water used in the process.
