This research seeks to address the problem of anemia in Peru, specifically in a group of vulnerable population as pregnant adolescents, through a participatory communication strategy, expanded in multiple media, genres, languages and platforms that coexist in an ecosystem of tales or stories called transmedia storytelling. The general objective of the research is to develop a communication plan with a transmedia approach for the prevention of anemia in pregnant adolescents who attend their prenatal check-ups at the Jerusalem Hospital in La Esperanza district. The present investigation, due to its approach, is quantitative, according to its purposes, basic, descriptive, cross-sectional and purposeful. The instrument used for data collection is a questionnaire of knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAP) applied to 42 pregnant adolescents who attended the Obstetrics area of Jerusalem Hospital. It was concluded that pregnant adolescents have a regular level of knowledge about anemia, inadequate feeding practices and unfavorable attitudes towards the prevention of this nutritional disease. Based on the results obtained, the proposal of the transmedia communication plan was designed, in which a serie of strategies and actions are proposed that promote the active participation of pregnant adolescents in the dissemination of content, to expand the narrative ecosystem of the project.
