ABSTRACT The fundamental objective of this research study is to determine and solve the conditions of the irrigation infrastructure of the Alan García canal, in the Punguchique sector, in the district of Cascas, in order to improve the irrigation system through hydraulic designs and of the works of art, and thus benefit 37 families that are affected in their daily lives for not having available the water resource, being necessary also the participation of the user committees of irrigators of the Punguchique sector for the efficient management in the distribution of water resources at a minimum cost. For this, an inductive type methodology was used, based on direct measurements of the field and using the appropriate equipment, in order to gather and examine all the information. For the hydraulic design, the natural slopes of the land were used, trying as much as possible not to have much filling or cutting during the route of the canal, it is important to mention that the hydrological study was not carried out because it is being designed in the second part of the canal with an already established endowment and finally the data was entered into the H-Canales software to calculate the data of the wet section of the channel.
