Abstract: El presente Trabajo, surge como una necesidad de la pobladores de Distrito de mala Comisión de Regantes de Mala, en coordinación con la Municipalidad Distrital de Mala con la finalidad de incorporar más áreas de cultivo para su siembra y cosecha, en la actualidad a consecuencia del último Fenómeno del Niño ocurrido en marzo del 2017, la infraestructura no presta el servicio adecuado, así mismo el canal actual es de tierra la cual existen perdidas por infiltración en canal, la bocatoma es tipo rustica la cual no es posible captar el agua suficiente. El padrón de beneficiarios en la actualidad es de 150 usuarios, se disponen de 40 ha bajo el riego y se cuenta con 20 ha para incorporación. Para el estudio se ha tenido en cuenta las Normas vigentes de Ingeniería, así como recomendaciones de Autoridad Nacional del Agua (ANA), El canal principal denominado CANAL DE RIEGO CALLEJÓN LA HUACA-ESCALA BAJA, por años ha estado postergado su mejoramiento y/o construcción de infraestructura cuyas componentes principales son canal de riego y bocatoma. Para el Diseño de ha considerado data de Información meteorológica de descargas de Caudales medios mensuales (1938-2005), teniendo un rango de 68 años de registros de datos estadísticos, se han utilizado datos de la Geomorfología de la cuenca tomado como referencia de Estudio Hidrológico elaborados por Ministerio de agricultura Intendencia de Recursos Hídricos – ATDR-Mala – Omas –Cañete, en la cual se ha procesado data usando método Estadísticos y Métodos Empírico, se consideró un tiempo de retorno de diseño de estructuras de 50 años, riesgo de falla de 25%, y una vida útil de 20 años, el caudal estimado de diseño para la bocatoma es de 211.35 m3/s, para el diseño de canal de 978.52 ml una sección es de 0.60m anchox0.50m altura que va conducir un caudal de 200 l/s desde la Bocatoma, se considera una introducción de Gestión de Riesgos asignadas del Proyecto, con el proyecto se mejorara la oferta de agua en CANAL DE RIEGO CALLEJÓN LA HUACA-ESCALA BAJA, DISTRITO DE MALA-CAÑETE-LIMA.
