The objective of this research is to determine how the implementation of lean manufacturing tools influences the productivity of the company Geral Calzados 23 S.A.C. For this purpose, an applied study with an pre-experimental design was used to evaluate the behaviour of productivity, pre- and post-implementation, considering a non-probabilistic sample for the convenience of the researcher in geographical proximity to the operators of the production line. In addition, the techniques used to determine initial productivity were observation, surveys, interviews and documentary analysis. A VSM was started to identify the main causes of low productivity, where the author conveniently implemented standardisation and 5's in the critical stations. Obtaining as a result an initial productivity of 0,29 dozens/hour-man, which after implementing the standardisation, an improved working method was established, reducing the processing time by 13.08 % and the bottleneck time by 28,35 %, also, a compliance of 68,6 % of the 5's was achieved. Finally, post-implementation productivity was evaluated, giving as a result 0,4 dozens/hour-man, therefore, it is concluded that the implementation of lean manufacturing tools in the company Geral Calzados 23 S.A.C. positively influences productivity by 37,93 %.
