ABSTRACT Infection by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, responsible for Covid-19, was detected for the first time in China at the end of 2019. Patients with COVID-19 present a wide range of clinical manifestations, from asymptomatic patients to very severe respiratory distress and multi- organ failure. There is scientific evidence of neurological manifestations associated with Covid-19 disease in several countries around the world; In Peru there are few studies on this subject, so the objective of this research was to determine the neurological complications associated with infection by the SARS-CoV-2 virus in Peru, for which a descriptive study was designed. transversal in 24 departments and one constitutional province of Peru. A virtual survey was carried out, through the application of an online cuestionnaire. Of 1000 surveyed patients, 60 did not present neurological complications and 159 were excluded due to presenting previous neurological disease. 781 patients manifested neurological complications such as CNS alterations: Headache in 61,33% of cases, sleep disorders 40,33%, muscle tremors 8,96%, lack of concentration 5,38%, facial paralysis 2,18%, loss of consciousness 0,64%, epilepsy 0,38%. Alterations of the PNS: Loss of smell / taste 50,32%, neuropathies 20,49%. It is concluded that patients with Covid-19 in Peru present some neurological complications associated with this disease.
