ABSTRACT The present investigation called: "Traditional patterns and information on sexual education in pregnant adolescents - IE Nº 80821 César Abraham Vallejo Mendoza" had the general objective of analyzing how traditional patterns through the manifestation of customs and the deficient information on sexual education influence the adolescent pregnancy of pregnant students from 3rd to 5th grade of secondary school, for which a survey was applied aimed at collecting data on knowledge of sexual and reproductive rights, sexually transmitted infections and contraceptive methods, semi-structured interviews were also conducted, which They were applied to a sample of 19 pregnant adolescents during the months of September to November 2019 in coordination with the area of tutoring and educational guidance, as well as with the area of citizen and civic personal development. The research results showed that the traditional patterns within the home (sexuality is a taboo and therefore it is avoided to talk and guide adolescents towards it) and sexual life (the beginning of the sexual life of adolescents is in more 50% due to pressure from the partner, another important point is not to use condoms in the coital sexual act because the men say they do not feel the same, the conversation about the use of it is also avoided because it causes discomfort to the couple) added to misinformation regarding contraceptive methods contribute to early pregnancy.
