The main objective of the research was to improve the drilling mesh to reduce the unitary cost of support on ramp 7595 Santa María CM. Poderosa. 5 activities were identified, corresponding to 91.31% of defects that contribute to the deterioration of the mesh. Likewise, the analysis of the existing drilling mesh was carried out and optimized according to the RMR classification of each front. Among the results obtained is the design of the new mesh, a perforation with Jumbo and effective lengths of the perforation of 3.1 meters were projected and 2 typical fronts were identified: RMR from 61 to 80 and RMR from 51 to 60. The methodology used was the non-experimental design of which does not involve manipulating its independent variable in order to produce an effect on the dependent variable. The population is made up of all the work of the Santa María mining unit of Level 2910 and the sample is Ramp 7595. Finally, as conclusions it was obtained that in the comparison of the average linear advance per shot between the blasts using the old mesh and the new mesh, showing an improvement of 0.4 meters between both meshes, decreasing the number of kilograms of explosive used and consequently the decrease of the linear charge factor and the power factor of the blast, increasing the efficiency up to 92%. In addition, a reduction of 9.72 S/ m2 in the unit cost was obtained
