ABSTRACT The objective of the present investigation was to evaluate the antagonistic capacity of four endophytic strains of Trichoderma spp. (TP1, TP2, TP3 and TP4), obtained from pineapple (Ananas comosus) variety Red Trujillana in Poroto La Libertad. Antagonistic activity was evaluated against four isolates of Fusarium oxysporum (F4A, F4C, FR1 and F6A), from the vascular tissue of pineapple plants with necrotic striae and wilt. To do this, used the technique of dual culture in Petri dishes with medium based on potato dextrose and agar (PDA), each strain of Trichoderma spp. was faced with each of the isolates of Fusarium oxysporum; considering each confrontation as a treatment and 6 repetitions were made with each one of them. Subsequently, the treatments were located in the laboratory under a complete random design, a daily record of the temperature and humidity of the environment was made. The growth rate, inhibition zone, parasitism and competition were evaluated during 14 days. Three of the strains of Trichoderma spp. inhibited by antibiosis the development of all the isolates of F. oxysporum with the exception of the Trichoderma spp. coded as TP4 that showed mycoparasitic activity against all the isolates of F. oxysporum evaluated.
