ABSTRACT The objective of the present work was to determine the effect of the guano of islands and lombríz humus in the yield of Hordeum vulgare L. var. Zapata in a sour floor of Santiago of Chuco, The Freedom. The treatments were t0 (witness), t1 (with 1 t.ha-1 of humus of Worm), t2 (With 1 t.ha-1 Guano of Island) and t3 (With 0.5 t.ha-1 humus of Worm + 0.5 t.ha-1 Guano of Island) and a design of complete blocks was used at random with 4 repetitions. Regarding the objectives the t2 (with 1 t.ha-1 Guano of Island) it overcame to the treatment t0 (Without organic payment, Witness), obtaining a yield average of 4380.31 kg.ha-1 of dry grain; the biggest average number of tillers for plant with 3,2; the biggest number average of grains for spike with 57,53; the biggest weight average of 1000 grains with 57, 78 g for 1000 seeds; the biggest weight average for spike with 66.32g; the biggest longitude of spikes average with 66,06cm and lastly the biggest height of plant average with 112,75cm.
