The objective of the research was to improve the water quality of industrial and domestic effluents at the packaging plant in Alto Salaverry, through a remediation system, for this reason the research focuses on solving an effluent problem, implementing actions focused on generating the water quality parameters or indicators that are of concern in the environment. The research focuses on improving the water quality of industrial and domestic effluents at the Alto Salaverry packaging plant in 2021, through a remediation system that includes an increase in secondary treatment, improvement of preliminary treatment, inclusion of primary treatment, existing primary improvement and improvement of the preliminary treatment of its effluents. The results in the chemical and microbiological parameters taken in 2021 from the effluents at the discharge points to the receiving body were Biochemical Oxygen Demand with an average result of 69.6 mg/L and an improvement of 78.6% compared to 2020 and 67.2% compared with 2019. Chemical Oxygen Demand with an average result of 123.9 mg/L and an improvement of 77.1% compared to 2020 and 68.8% compared to 2019. Total Suspended Solids with an average result of 117.9 mg/L and an improvement in 69.9% compared to 2020 and 69.1% compared to 2019. Total coliforms with an average result of 3.8E+04 (3.8x104) NPM/100mL and an improvement of 03 log units based on 10 compared to 2020 and 01 log unit compared to 2019. Thermotolerant coliforms with an average result of 2.6E+04(3.8x104) NPM/100mL and an improvement of 02 log units based on 10 compared to 2020 and 01 log unit compared to 2019. It is concluded that: through the application of a remediation system, it has been possible to improve the water quality of the industrial and domestic effluents in the packaging plant in Alto Salaverry, with average final chemical and microbiological parameters, in the year 2021, at the point discharge to the receiving body EF 02.
