The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the caregiver's household solid waste management practices and the incidence of acute diarrheal diseases in boys and girls under 3 years of age who are beneficiaries of the Cuna Más Program - Alto Trujillo, 2023. The methodology was quantitative., descriptive – correlational design. The sample was made up of 70 caregivers. As instruments, the questionnaire on household solid waste management practices of the caregiver of boys and girls under 3 years of age and the questionnaire on the incidence of acute diarrheal diseases in boys and girls under 3 years of age were applied. The results showed that the level of household solid waste management practice, 74.3% (52 caregivers) in the adequate category, followed by 21.4% (15 caregivers) in the regularly adequate category, and 4.3% (3 caregivers) in the category not adequate. Regarding the incidence of diarrheal diseases in boys and girls, 75.7% do not present a new episode of diarrheal, and 24.3% if you present a new episode of diarrheal.
