Human activity is based on the consumption of the culture of using and throwing waste in critical proportions, the composition of this solid waste is based on 60% organic matter and 10% plastic generated in Peru, of which only 1% polypropylene is recycled. In addition to slowly degrading in landfills, without having a municipal waste management plan. However, this research incorporates the addition of crushed polypropylene flakes from bottle cap waste, an alternative in order to mitigate environmental pollution. The objective of this research was to evaluate the recycled polypropylene plastic in type I concrete pavers on compression (NTP 339.034), bending (ASTM C 293) impact test (ACI 544.2R) and absorption (NTP 399.604). For the mix design, the ACI 211, for 1m3 of pattern paver, Mochica cement type MS was used with an amount of 463 kg/m3, sand 804 kg/m3, confitillo 3/8" - 778 kg/m3, water 240 l/m3 and with a water/cement ratio of 0.51, and addition of 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5 % and 6% of polypropylene crushed plastic flakes with a diameter of 4,750mm (Mesh #4) For the tests in the hardened state, pavers with dimensions of 200 mm x 100 mm x 40 mm were made, evaluated after 28 days of curing according to the ASTM C 31 standard. In addition, pavers from 3 well-known companies in the city of Trujillo and nationwide were evaluated. among them formal companies such as: Unicón, Norblock and Dino. On the other hand, there are informal companies such as kreto s.a.c, fare s.a.c, tecnicreto s.a.c dedicated to the production of prefabricated paving stones. With respect to the pavers made with the pattern design with a compression of 542 kg/cm2, flexion 59 kg/cm2, impact resistance 10 blows and absorption of 4.2%. The optimal results were obtained by adding 2 and 3% of crushed polypropylene plastic flakes to the total volume of the mixture, obtaining compression results; 473 - 443 kg/cm2, flexion; 63.3 - 74 kg/cm2, impact; 20 - 29 joules and absorption 5- 5.1%, respectively; Unlike the addition of 4%, compression decreases by 392 kg/cm2, flexion by 56 kg/cm2, impact by 36 Joules and absorption decreases 6%. With these results it is established that when adding polypropylene the optimal range is 2 and 3%, since it is within the range established by the standard. Finally, the results compared with the 3 companies, the Unicón company being the one with the best results from the tests carried out
