ABSTRACT Here is a great shortage of water in the Chicama Valley because the only months of abundance are January, February and March, in the remaining months where water crops suffer the most and this generates the stress of the crop. The project is based on developing a drip pressurized irrigation design for the cultivation of 50 hectares in the sector of Mocan, District of Casagrande, Province of Ascope, where water resources from river and groundwater sources will be used. Having all the field data, it will be possible to make the necessary calculations to obtain the Agronomic Design and with these parameters to be able to elaborate the Hydraulic design. Elaborated the Hydraulic Design it will be possible to obtain all the measures of pipe and simulations in the case of overpressures, the quantity of gravel filters depending on the quality of water and what type of valves to use. This generates the most efficient and effective use of water where farmers can have more than two annual campaigns and generate more production, more income and better quality of life.
