Abstract: La presente investigación tiene como propósito analizar la incidencia del crecimiento económico en el empleo de las mujeres, con la finalidad de conocer su participación en el mercado laboral y con ello contribuir a diseñar medidas de política económica. Para el desarrollo de la investigación se utilizó los reportes estadísticos del Instituto Nacional de Estadística e informática y del Banco Central de Reserva del Perú, los datos recopilados, se procesaron en tablas y figuras, identificando tendencias en el comportamiento de las variables de estudio, asimismo medidas de tendencia central y el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson; para contrastar la hipótesis se estimó un modelo de regresión y luego se aplicaron los criterios de validación pertinentes, para validar estadísticamente el modelo. La investigación concluye, que el crecimiento económico incide positivamente en el empleo de la mujer, sin embargo, la evidencia empírica señala que esta incidencia es mínima, por lo que se recomienda a las autoridades implementar políticas económicas que permita mayor participación de las mujeres en el mercado de trabajo de los diferentes sectores económicos y en las diferentes regiones del país.
