In recent years, Latin America and the Caribbean have experienced an important process of urbanization. The region was rural until the mid-20th century, but due to population growth as well as migration from rural areas to urban centers, the region has the largest number of urban dwellers in the world. Córdoba, like other cities in Latin America, has suffered uncontrolled growth and also does not have policies for land use planning, urban densification, housing construction and infrastructure. Due to this lack of planning, it is then detected: "Lack of a Decent Public Space, which guarantees better living conditions, helps the protection and safety of its citizens". In order to know what qualities this space would have, we carried out an analysis in the city of Córdoba. Thanks to this analysis, a lack of sports centers was detected in the North-West area of the city, which is why the Villa neighborhood was selected. Siburu for the location of our project. The neighborhood in which the project is implemented has certain shortcomings, which allowed us to have a clearer idea of what our architectural proposal would be. For these reasons, it is proposed to develop a sports and social space for all the inhabitants of the neighborhood and the surrounding neighborhoods, which not only allows various sports activities to be carried out, but also serves as a convening space that allows cohesion and social interaction, with characteristics of a strategic place, due to its proximity to the city center and at the same time in a situation of abandonment, but with great landscaping potential. This chosen site allows, in turn, to revalue and conserve the waterfront that passes through the downtown area of the city and connects it with the surrounding neighborhoods.
