The following research presented the general problem: "Is there a relationship between eating disorders and attitudes toward food in students of a private educational institution in Lima - 2022?" with the general objective of determining the relationship between eating disorders and attitudes toward food in students of a private educational institution in Lima - 2022. The research has a descriptive, non-experimental, and cross-sectional scope. It has a quantitative approach and required presentation through descriptive statistics. The study had a sample of 186 high school students from the CPEEI Nuestra Señora de Montserrat in the Cercado de Lima district, and the EDI-3 and EAT-26 questionnaires were used. The results showed that out of 100% of students, 16.1% exhibited attitudes and behaviors related to eating disorders, of which 12.4% did not have an eating disorder (TCA) and 3.7% did have a TCA. Furthermore, out of 100% of students, 83.9% did not exhibit attitudes and behaviors related to eating disorders, with 67.3% not having a TCA and 16.6% having a TCA. In conclusion, there is no relationship between eating disorders and attitudes toward food in students of a private educational institution. Finally, it is recommended to continue research on the topic with larger populations and raise awareness among the sample about the importance of preventing eating disorders.
