The research aimed to determine the relationship between nursing care and the identification of alarm signs of the newborn of adolescent mothers at the Hospital San José – Chincha 2018. It was of type quantitative, correlational and non-experimental design, the sample was 132 mothers, as instrument was used the questionnaire with a validity of 0.024 and 0.017 and a reliability of Alpha of Crombach of 0803 and 0822 for the variables. According to the results, 50.00% of mothers perceive a regular level of nursing care. As Well as 66.67% of them present, a regular level in the identification of alarm signs in the RN. It was concluded that there is a direct relationship between nursing care and the identification of warning signs of the newborn. It was recommended to the head of nursing and the nurses to organize demonstration workshops for the mothers on how to recognize the signs of warning in their children, among other indications besides the normal behavior that should have the RN, also of provide the procedures and actions to follow identifying the alarm signs in your children.
