The objective of the present investigation was to determine which higher scale is more frequent in the personality of the art students of a private institution in Metropolitan Lima. The research is descriptive and consisted of a sample of 25 artists. The instrument was applied: Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) in its abbreviated Mini-Mult version, which several aspects or personality factors within the parameter of eight subclinical scales: Hypochondria, Depression, Hysteria, Psychopathic Deviation, Paranoia, Psyhastenia, Schizophrenia, Hypomania. Evidencing that the majority of artists present a high percentage in the subclinical scale of Schizophrenia with an average of 74.16% that reflects an average score in terms of the general evaluation and evidences a Limit Profile because it is located in the standard deviation of the total.
