This academic study consists in a research involving nursing care the intraoperative phase to children under one year old who suffered from cleft palate and are treated in the city Cayetano Heredia Hospital. This particular research proposes to create a care plan based on the human responses and treating the human being as a whole. Each patient is a unique individual that needs personalized nursing care that is focused specifically on them and not only their illness. The nursing care provided during the intraoperative phase applies the scientific method which is based on the nursing care of practice by proposing from the nursing’s perception a systemized, logical, and rational patient care. The nursing care is based in five phases: assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation; this series of organized phases are an ongoing and related to each other. Although the study and analyzes of each phase is performed independently, it also has methodological characteristic, since each phase is linked to each other directly when put into practice. Applying these phases correctly would assurance the integrity of care for the cleft palate nursing infants, and focus on their health interest and necessities
