Each year are born in the world approximately 15 million children born prematurely, in Europe more than five hundred thousand and only in Peru die each year about twelve thousand four hundred preterm infants; nearly 1.5 million at the global level do not survive, according to figures from the World Health Organization, which increased year after year, you can avoid most of them with appropriate care and treatment. For this reason it has been necessary to develop in a scientific manner and through the Nursing Care Process (NCP), the care of the premature newborn diagnosed with Transient Tachypnea of the Newborn (TTN), in favor of an early recovery and quality, taking into account the reduction of hospital stay of the newborn, and encourage the mother-child relationship, breastfeeding and cognitive development of prematurity, this nursing care as a model of nursing intervention. In the development of the Nursing Care Process, touched important points, such as the nursing assessment, which includes all the dimensions of the human being: biological, socio-cultural, psychological and spiritual, which allows to offer a holistic care, humane and secure to the newborn. I believe that the nursing assessment is the cornerstone of the Nursing Care Process. The Nursing Diagnoses, allowed me to put into practice the critical judgment in relation to the problems and related factors. The Planning allowed me to prioritize diagnoses, outcomes and interventions to then document the plan. In the Implementation stage, I put into practice the planned activities to achieve the proposed results. In conclusion it is very important to ensure the factors that favor the initiation of breastfeeding, its continuity avoids the morbidity and mortality of preterm infants. The kangaroo mother method minimizes the effects painful and stressful of an intensive care unit.
