Estilos de aprendizaje en estudiantes del 4º y 5º de secundaria de la Institución Educativa Nº 3004 “España” en el distrito del Rímac, Lima

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar el nivel de los estilos de aprendizaje en los estudiantes de cuarto y quinto año de secundaria de la institución Educativa 3004 “España” en el distrito del Rímac. Se utilizó el Cuestionario de Estilos de Aprendizaje (CHAEA) desarrollado por Honey y Alonso adaptado en Perú por Zavala (2008). La investigación es descriptiva y consiste en una muestra de 62 estudiantes de ambos sexos entre las edades de 15 y 17 años. Los resultados de la investigación mostraron el estilo de aprendizaje activo con 35,5% considerada categoría “Alta”, el estilo de aprendizaje reflexivo con 27,4% considerada categoría “Alta”, el estilo de aprendizaje teórico con 33,9% considerada categoría “Muy Alta” y el estilo de aprendizaje pragmático con 29,0% considerada categoría “Muy Alta”. Se concluyó que el estilo predominante en los estudiantes es el estilo activo y con el menor predominio es el estilo reflexivo.

The objective of the present investigation was to determine the level of learning styles in the fourth- and fifth-year high school students of the Educational institution 3004 “Spain” in the district of Rimac. We used the Learning Styles Questionnaire (CHAEA) developed by Honey and Alonso adapted in Peru by Zavala (2008). The research is descriptive and consists of a sample of 62 students of both sexes between the ages of 15 and 17 years. The results of the research showed the active learning style with 35,5% considered “High” category, the reflective learning style with 27,4% considered “High” category, the theoretical learning style with 33,9% considered category “Very High” and the pragmatic learning style with 29,0% considered “Very High” category. It was concluded that the predominant style in the students is the active style and with the least predominance is the reflective style.
