Crecimiento económico y educación en el Perú 2000 - 2016

Abstract

La finalidad de este estudio ha sido determinar la relación que ha existido entre el crecimiento económico y la educación en el Perú, durante el período 2000-2016.Con esa idea se recopilaron los datos de cada uno de los indicadores a través de los cuales se midió las variables de investigación, elaborándose una base de datos que nos permitió probar en qué medida, dichas variables tenían una relación significativa.Los resultados de la investigación muestran que ha existido una relación lineal y positiva significativa del PBI con el Presupuesto en Educación, el Presupuesto en Educación Básica y el presupuesto por alumno universitario en el Perú, durante el período 2000- 2016. No es clara, en cambio la relación entre el crecimiento económico con el presupuesto en educación, la cual solo ocurre si dividimos la serie de datos en dos submuestras.

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship that has existed between economic growth and education in Peru, during the period 2000-2016. With this idea, the data of each one of the indicators were collected through which the research variables were measured, creating a database that allowed us to test to what extent, these variables had a significant relationship.The results of the research show that there has been a significant positive linear and linear relationship of the GDP with the Budget in Education, the Budget in Basic Education and the budget per university student in Peru, during the period 200-2016. It is not clear, however, the relationship between economic growth with the education budget, which only happens if we divide the data series into two subsamples.
