The present research work aimed to establish the variation of performance reader according to learning styles and the metacognitive strategies the students of the first and second secondary the José Jiménez Borja school. Study population was represented by students from the first and second grades with a sample of 150 students. Tools used by the measurement of the variables were the questions of honey and Alonso about learning styles (CHAEA ) designed with 80 item in oder to explore the styles: active, reflexive,theoretical and pragmatical; the second tool was ESCOLA 28 .It had done by Aníbal Puente Ferreras, Virginia Jiménez Rodríguez and Jesus Alvarado; the latest was performer´s reader in area of communication. It was showed that styles learning and Performer’s reader from students of first and second grades see that there isn´t enough estatistics evidence to say these variables are associated. It is observed the influence of metacognitive strategies in the performer´s reader of José Jiménez Borja´s students. while, the teacher trains Students with low achievement. When learning styles is active, performer ‘reader is found in beginning. Likewise when the Style is pragmatical, performer´s reader is found in the same level, likewise metacognitive strategies and performer´s reader are associated to a level of significance 0.05. The process of planning from the metacognitive strategies and performance´s reader are associated to a level of significance 0.05. The type of research was descriptive and applied level. Method and research design was descriptive. The statistical test was the correlation time of Pearson product because analysed using record levels and the test ESCOLA and the questionnaire learning styles with a margin of error of 0.01.
