The anomalies of dental development can be in form, size and number, can occur both in deciduous and permanent dentition. The exact etiology of dental anomalies is not clearly known. Both genetic and environmental factors are responsible for its development. Abnormal teeth are usually asymptomatic, but can be discovered during a clinical examination of the oral cavity and confirmed with a radiographic examination.
