The research is of experimental design and quantitative type, longitudinal. The experimental part consists of two stages; the first stages were carried out tests of solubility, phytochemical march and separation of alkaloids and flavonoids by thin layer chromatography in both extracts. In the second stage to determine the molluscicidal effect of the extracts were prepared at concentrations of 100%, 50%, 25% and 12.5%. The results found in the identification of the secondary metabolites indicate the presence of phenolic compounds, condensed tannins, alkaloids, flavonoids and amino acids in the hydroalcoholic extract of the leaves of myrtle and phenolic compounds, hydrolysable tannins, quinones, alkaloids and flavonoids in the extract aqueous from the shell of the pomegranate fruit; Likewise, to determine the molluscicidal effect, they were divided into five experimental groups, which showed that the 100% concentration had a greater molluscicidal effect in all the groups, in the same way we can indicate that 5% metaldehyde was used in the positive control group and presented higher molluscicidal effect in relation to the group of the combination of the hydroalcoholic extract of the bayberry leaves and aqueous extract of the shell of the pomegranate fruit, in turn this had a greater molluscicidal effect compared to the experimental group of the hydroalcoholic extract of the bayberry leaves, which showed a greater molluscicidal effect in front of the experimental group of the aqueous extract of the shell of the pomegranate fruit, in conclusion the hydroalcoholic extract of the leaves of myrtle and aqueous extract of the shell of the fruit of the pomegranate have molluscicidal effect in Achatina fulica Bowdich, 1822.
