Currently, cancer is a major public health problem worldwide. In our country, malignant neoplasms of the cervix and breast represent the main and most frequent causes of cancer morbidity in adult women. As part of the State's strategies on issues of citizen participation in health, the intervention of community agents has been implemented, who carry out actions of prevention and health promotion in their community. Considering then, the so important role that these social actors have in the community, the present investigation has as objective to determine the knowledge on the levels of prevention of cancer of cervix and breast that have the community agents of health of the Direction of Networks Integrated Health - DIRIS Lima Centro. The study is of a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive and cross-sectional method. The survey was used as a technique and as an instrument, which was applied to a sample of 64 community agents. As a result, it was found that the degree of knowledge they have about cervical and breast cancer prevention levels is medium.
