Actitud machista en adolescentes atendidos en un centro de salud pública del distrito de Independencia

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo identificar los factores de las actitudes hacia el machismo que presentan los adolescentes atendidos en un centro de salud pública del distrito de Independencia. La investigación es de tipo descriptivo y estuvo conformada por una muestra de 70 adolescentes, 29 hombres y 41 mujeres. Se aplicó el instrumento: Escala de Actitudes hacia el Machismo, la cual mide las actitudes hacia el machismo, evidenciándose que los adolescentes del centro de salud pública del distrito de Independencia presentaron actitudes hacia el machismo en su factor general con un promedio de 48.8 % (34) de ellos, con actitudes de ambivalencia hacia el machismo; un 40.3 % (28), con actitudes de tendencia al rechazo al machismo; un 6.3 % (4) con actitudes de tendencia a la aceptación del machismo; un 4.3 % (3) con actitudes de definitivo rechazo al machismo y un 0.3 % (1) con una actitud de definitiva aceptación al machismo.

The objective of this research was to identify the factors of attitudes towards machismo that adolescents seen in a public health center in the district of Independencia present. The research is descriptive and consisted of a sample of 70 adolescents, 29 men and 41 women. The instrument was applied: Scale of Attitudes towards Machismo, which measures attitudes toward machismo, evidencing that adolescents from the public health center of the district of Independencia presented attitudes towards machismo in their general factor with an average of 48.8% ( 34) of them, with attitudes of ambivalence towards machismo; 40.3% (28), with attitudes of tendency to reject machismo; 6.3% (4) with attitudes of tendency to the acceptance of machismo; 4.3% (3) with attitudes of definitive rejection of machismo and 0.3% (1) with an attitude of definitive acceptance of machismo.
