Propuesta de mejora al área de planeamiento y control de proyectos con la finalidad de optimizar su gestión en la empresa Santo Domingo Contratistas Generales S.A.

Abstract

El presente trabajo está orientado al desarrollo e implementación de mejoras en el área de Planeamiento y Control de Proyectos de la empresa Santo Domingo Contratistas Generales S.A., que consiste en definir una herramienta estándar de gestión con la finalidad de mejorar su desempeño. Para lo cual se hizo un análisis al proyecto “Instalaciones Eléctricas de Media Tensión” ejecutado durante el año 2016. La ejecución de proyectos de ingeniería en general, implica llevar en todo momento el control de tres variables principales: costo, tiempo y calidad, factores que se vuelven más importantes durante la ejecución de los mismos, el descuido o mejora en uno de ellos, repercute inmediatamente en el otro. El objetivo principal del presente documento, que se desarrolla a lo largo de los ocho capítulos, es dar solución a la necesidad de asegurar el valor de un proyecto en términos de costo y tiempo, en un mercado en crecimiento que ofrece mejores oportunidades y a la vez donde el sector se vuelve cada vez más competitivo. Se propone como alternativa de solución aplicar el Valor Ganado en su totalidad.

The present work is oriented to the development and implementation of improvements in the area of Project Planning and Control of the company Santo Domingo Contratistas Generales S.A., which consists of defining a standard management tool in order to improve its performance. For which an analysis was made to the project "Medium Voltage Electrical Installations" executed during the year 2016. The execution of engineering projects in general implies to control at all times three main variables: cost, time and quality, factors that become more important during the execution of the same, carelessness or improvement in one of them, impacts immediately on the other. The main objective of this document, which is developed throughout the eight chapters, is to solve the need to ensure the value of a project in terms of cost and time, in a growing market that offers better opportunities and at the same time where the sector becomes increasingly competitive. It is proposed as an alternative solution to apply the Earned Value in its entirety.
