The objective of this research is to determine the level of child maltreatment in 6th grade children of the "Juan Andrés Vivanco Amorín" Educational Institution, in the Ate-Vitarte district, Period 2018. The study corresponds to a descriptive research , of basic level and with a quantitative approach according to the handling of the data. The research design is non-experimental, cross-sectional. The universe of the population consists of 40 children aged 11-12 years and the sample was census, due to the small number of participants. The technique used to collect the information was the survey and the instrument used was the Infantile Maltreatment Scale, which evaluates three dimensions of child abuse: physical abuse, psychological abuse, sexual abuse. The conclusion reached was that the child abuse of children of the Educational Institution "JAVA" is high by 43%, product of a set of inadequate treatment of children, having a predominant incidence on this, the high level reached in psychological abuse in children.
