The objective to academically to determine the relationship that exist between Nursing counseling and the prevention of ferropenic anemia on mothers who have children from 6 to 36 months at the Morropon Health Center in Piura, 2018. Cut, quantitative type the, method used was descriptive, correlational design with transvers The study sample consisted by 70 mothers who have children from 6 to 36 months. the technique used search inquiry as an instrument the questionnaire, which were validated by expert judges and, besides, has a strong reliability in the Cronbach's Alpha of 0.798 and 0.865 restively. Results 74.3% tannery level of counseling Nursing good ,are in a good level, the 21.4% a regular level and the 4.3% a bad level. On prevention of ferropenic anemia the 48.6% are in a good level, the 41.4% a regular level and the 10% a bad level. In conclusion, the variable nursing ministry is directly and positively related with the variable prevention of ferropenic anemia, also, according to Spearman's correlation of 0.881 the result is strong and positive. So, the main hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. In addition, it suggested to the nurse from the center of heal Morropon Piura, to strengthening in counseling attention integrity of the children from 6 to 36 months with emphasis in the prevention of ferropenic anemia and monitoring of micronutrient administration in the child's die
